OUR APPROACH
Strategic health check
Your organisation probably already has a strategy. We are happy to provide a review, partly based on our ValueScript methodology. Based on the review, we can provide answers to the following questions, for example:
- Is the current strategy still fit-for-purpose?
- Has the strategy been sufficiently translated into – prioritised – actions?
- How effective is the process of strategy formulation in the organisation?
- How consistently is the strategy being adhered to? Are targets in line with the strategy?
- How realistic are the forecasts of our target company ("strategic due dilligence")
Strategic development
Within four weeks, we map out the strategic position of your organisation. This is partly based on our unique ValueScript methology.
This is characterized by a 360-degree perspective on the organization in which we also follow the development of the crucial elements over time. This allows us to form an integral, holistic view of your organization. Reducing future uncertainty and translating it into feasibility are central to this. In one or more steps, we validate our findings with you and your team.
Value management
Your strategy is the starting point. But are you fully exploiting the potential of value? Do you have your financial X factor sufficiently on the radar? And more importantly: implemented in all the veins of your organization? Is every “buy” in your “buy and build” strategy also a “build” in terms of value creation? After all, we can also assist to prepare your organisation for sale.
Implementation
We are also happy to use our extensive and broad experience to help implement a credible strategy. This can be in an executive role, for example as a program manager, business coach or investment manager. But also in a more guiding role as a sparring partner, for example in an Advisory Board. Our starting point is always a jointly defined plan. We go for the best result, but we will never forget the human factor.
De ValueScript methodology
The core of the methodology is that it does not conceive of strategy as a static fact but as a storyline. A storyline with actors who are in the controllable, the influenceable or the non-influenceable spectrum in and around the organization. How did this interaction go over time? What were significant deviations in this context compared to your peers? Can we draw conclusions from this with regard to future results? And if so, which ones? Based on a script of 42 questions, the storyline, conclusions and proposed future steps are worked out.
